The process

This usually starts with a phone call to discuss the project at high level, but ideally with enough information to ascertain whether the endeavor would constitute a conflict of interest with respect to current Triermain clients and/or NDAs. If there is no actual or potential conflict the next step is usually to put an NDA in place. A mutual NDA is preferred to allow information to flow both ways – this ensures we can be of most help to you. We can and do work inside virtual company organizations based from our independent lab space on Bainbridge Island. We can do on-site work on the Kitsap Peninsula, and perform periodic site visits in the Greater Seattle Area out to an approximate 40 mile-radius from the Bainbridge Island.

Air travel is TBD depending on the engagement and location, but extensive periods of travel are generally not possible.

We do not typically engage on therapeutic laser ophthalmology or ophthalmic OCT assignments; however we can refer you to very skilled people in this field. We do not engage on assignments involving short-range road vehicle LIDAR development or reverse engineering, expert witness / testimonial work, or development work on new endoscopes where the target is cancer detection and diagnosis.
